Listed for sale in Huntington Beach is this very nice, rider quality MK1 Aprilia RS250. The seller is very upfront that this bike doesn’t have a title and what is known of it’s history. While it may not be a museum quality example, it is certainly a bike many would love to actually ride as it was intended while being very original in nature. There are a few things I’d care to correct, but it also has several spares that could be used to change the look or possibly even offset the purchase price if sold separately. So I’d say this is a pass as a collector, but worth considering as a bike to ride hard all afternoon and then proudly park out in front of your local bike night.

It’s a decent bike, but it would be very difficult to register in CA. Especially with no title..
What would you want to correct?
no EPA sticker, Vin will send up red flags. It will make a fun track bike, but I don’t think you get it Reg’d here. Last time I heard of a 2 stroke getting through, was a long time ago.
Dan, What would you want to correct?
Linny, agreed it’s not going to get titled in California but it is for sale there.
SR88, it was the bicycle speedometer that made me wonder but I see on 2nd glance where he describes why it’s needed due to the newer front rim that doesn’t have a speedo pickup. My fault — though I’d probably go back to the original front rim if I could so this worked.

Yes there is nothing that can be done about getting it titled in cali….unless cali changes their rules….no chance of getting cali plate….suks but true
Dont bother buying the bike ..its a waste of money buying bikes that cant be plated….although u could get the silver surfer plated in mexico…..lol
Sold for $5600.
