Sometimes it seems that the nicer, more rare and more expensive a bike is, the less the seller has to say or show about it. While the age-old adage of “it sells itself” may be true, the staff here at RSBFS really like to see an owner who is willing to share what they know about their bike. This 2004 Ducati 999R in the Fila livery is certainly rare – and with a BIN of $23k it is certainly expensive – but I would have hoped for more than a single picture and a short description.

It’s the ol’ ‘TAH_DAH’ sales approach.
The new Panigale R is going to be $29.999k so no comparison and well worth the $7k upgrade.
That bike wouldn’t sell at that price even if it was still on MSO and in the crate. No way in Hell he will get that money on a bike that old with that many miles.
he must really like this bike cuz at that price he’s gonna own it a long long time!
and there is another one for sale on ebay right now too!
$15k if seller were patient. Maybe slightly more to the perfect buyer. Could also be relisted on eBay half a dozen times with bidding stalling out at $12k.
The new Panigale is an incredible bike, but for the 999R Ducati used the best material available at that time!. This is way the 2004 Fila R was sold in Italy at 32.000 euro, basically was more expensive then the Panigale R of today. I’m proud of my Fila #134/200.That I bought directly from Ducati factory. I will take good care of it….
