RSBFS
Though this bike is only 17 years young, it is already a hot collectable and dudes are drooling over it on BaT. We have seen 5 of these bikes grace our pages, as early as 2013.
Donn reviewed one in 2017 aptly reminding us, “Reviews of the CBR1000RR confirmed the solid feeling, and that the bike was composed at speed, almost deceptively fast. Integration and testing by factory riders and engineers are the usual reason, leaving not much to chance. After all, this sort of machine is generally found no more than ten feet from the showroom door. …. The MotoGP laurel on the tank is a small tribute to a hardworking and humble champion, who wore his dad’s racing number 69, and was bicycling for fitness ( after a morning run ! ) in the middle of the WSBK season…”
RSBFS reader JP commented on Donn’s post, “Original low mile Hayden 07s will be collectible. Best looking of the cbr1000s.” And then admits, “I have one with 285 miles on it. All stock.”
I hope you still have that beauty JP! It looks like you were correct.
Good luck to the buyer and seller!
