If you have been looking for a 2000 Ninja and some adventure to go along with it, perhaps a northern island is in your future. The trip alone to pick this up seems like it’s worth the price of admission.
In a quick search I found one that sold last year on BaT for $5,100 with 16,000 miles. This example has almost 7k less miles… for $1,150 more. Of course, you also have to get yourself to and from an island off the coast of Maine. Which begs the question, ‘How do I calculate the cost of getting to Maine and the value of the adventure?’ You have to go with your gut on this one.

I always liked these. A more attractive option to the ‘Busa. If there is not enough power, They built a Jet Ski engine based on this motor. How many if any parts would interchange remains to be seen. Great lights for the return home when working 2nd shift.
Agreed, always overshadowed by the ‘busa. A good friend got one of these new in 2002 and I had a hard time keeping up with it on my VTR. Crazy top end.
