Our second Moto Guzzi this week.
Way back in 2011 Mike reported on a yellow ’97 Moto Guzzi 1100, “This big, two valve twin is the Moto Guzzi equivalent of a Ducati Supersport – lots of torque and the relatively simplicity of air cooling. Sure, this isn’t a razor-sharp canyon carver like many wanna-be replica hypersportbikes, but a good rider can maintain a good pace in relative comfort and with relatively low effort. Not a bad way to go…. The current asking price for this bike is $4,625 with reserve not met. These are generally $6,000 – $8,000 machines depending upon condition. This bike looks to be a solid rider, and should fetch somewhere in the middle of that range.”
Today’s bike does not have that many miles, and it also does not have many photos or much of a seller’s description. The ebay seller does have good reviews. If you are looking for a Guzzi and you are in the area, it seems worthy of a visit.
