Up for consideration, the Bimota YB11. The Ferrari of motorcycles. Powered by a Yamaha 1000cc Thunderace motor putting out 150 hp. Manufactured with all the best components available at that time. Hand built with many pieces machined from billet stock and lots of carbon fibre.
78 total imported to the US. This is a near mint example with 8700 miles. Many extras included. Upgraded rear shock, have the original as well. These do not come up for sale often. Thanks for looking.

This bike is a crowd favorite at Rare. Italian – Japanese fusion at it’s best.
I checked out a RSBFS listing in 2019 and according to a comment by reader TireFriar, “At $10k, this is listed close to the top of the YB11 market [2019]. However, compared to some of the similarly aged Japanese offerings on the market this YB11 surprisingly appears to be fairly priced.”
Our founder, Dan, gave us the cliff notes back in 2013, “Utilizing the potent Yamaha 1000cc Thunderace motor, Bimota wraps it’s own bike around it with 51mm shocks, adjustable rake via eccentric bushes in the steering headstock, and the entire package weighs 31 pounds less than the Thunderace. Only 650 were built.”
