You know we’re big fans of the RS250, the Chesterfield replica in particular, and this one looks beautiful!
quote from seller’s listing:
Beautiful Aprilia RS250 for sale. This bike has NO TITLE, it was registered in Vermont where they issue registration only for vehicles under 300cc (they are considered scooters). Bike was shipped to me as parts years ago from overseas through a Pennsylvania dealership so it was never titled. Bike is in excellent running condition. I just removed the engine, replaced the top end, gave everything a good cleaning, and it is in better condition than when I got it years ago. Top end has about 15 miles on it max. Crank and bearings seemed OK by my inspection during the top end job. It has been sitting in my garage for the last two years with only occasional starts to keep the carbs clean. The odometer reads 12,000 miles, but it was swapped from the original which read 12,000km (which I will include with the sale), so the bike actually only has about 12,000 km on it. The condition of the bike is 8/10. There is an area of scraping on the bottom of one fork leg and the front wheel axle nut which inclines me to believe the bike had been down prior to me getting it, but I have no history on that. The bodywork and frame are not damaged. The bike is all stock except for some tasteful carbon fiber on the frame sides, top triple clamp, gauge panel, and brake reservoir bracket. The front and rear fenders are both carbon fiber. The bodywork has been clearcoated over some surface imperfections which are minor, but I will mention for the sake of full disclosure.
Maybe this will end up under your Christmas tree. Santa knows who’s been naughty and who’s been nice!
