1991 Honda NSR250R MC21 For Sale
Location: Georgetown, IN
Mileage: 9,500
Price: $4,600.00 $4300 Update: Sale Pending!
This one sports all OEM plastics and they are in decent shape. I’ll call them a 6.5/7 out of 10 with no major cracking, but the tabs on the lower belly pan are broken off and the upper has a small piece missing where mirror mounts.
100% stock other than Tyga canisters. She sports a new top end, ultrasonically cleaned carbs and will start on the first or second kick. Runs strong and is an absolute blast to ride.
I do not have this one titled so it will be sold with a BOS only.
Please review all the pictures and ask any questions.
I will help with shipping in anyway I can, but will not incur any of the expenses.
I’m open to trades as well- Perhaps an R6 or CBR600rr so just hit me up with what you have and please don’t offer me a 4 wheeler 😉
You can contact me at doug@raresportbikesforsale.com with any questions or ask them here.
Thanks for looking!

I am looking to eventually purchase a Honda NSR. I love the bike, but have never ridden one.
Anyone think it is smarter to go after the MC28 over MC21???
Furthermore, this business about derestricting the horsepower limits, is this necessary?
It seems you should be able to get some pretty rad speed out of 45-50 horsepower.
I would appreciate any insightful thoughts from NSR250 owners? thanks
Dave, go with the MC21. It’s lighter, has more HP, easier to derestrict, and takes to tuning better than the MC28. It’ll also be cheaper.
I was in 2 minds about this bike – already spoke to Doug a month back or so and confirmed it is a sweet as it looks and sounds (per YouTube video). I ended up getting an RZV500 YZR replica/track day/race bike – picking it up in 2 weeks.
If this MC21 bike is still for sale in November, I think I might grab it. Even without a title its going to make a great track day bike for someone.
A friend and I taught my wife to ride on one of these. They are some of the best rides out there. I almost cried when it was stolen. Never to be seen again….. I will have one again some day….
