1986 Yamaha SRX-6 Cult Classic collectable Rider. If you know, you know. If you don’t, there is lots of internet info. One year only (in USA) this is a factory Cafe/sport bike. 600cc single cylinder with kick start only.
Super fun, super reliable, super Smooth counter-balanced thumper. Just fast enough, conversation and attention at every gas station and group ride/ bike gathering.
This one has zero leaks, no smoke or mechanical issues and is stock and original with the exception of: Adjustable Bar risers, Aftermarket muffler, and Manual compression release (factory was auto)
I had no intention of ever selling however, recent catastrophic medical events & expenses have changed everything.. I rode it last year as my only ride about 1000 miles. Starting after sitting for the winter is not for sissies. Once you have the process down, it is one or two kicks..

We don’t see these very often, and yet this is the third that has popped up in 2026.
Lance commented on our last SRX6 post, “I built the motor on one, ported head and megacycle cam, supertrapp exhaust. The bike could squirt past cars on twisty roads very easily. They will hear you coming and going. Repainted mine in silver and that really made the bike stand out.” to which Vincent replied, “Agreed, this is a great find. I can recall being humbled on a technical back road by an old friend (with talent) on one of these.”
