We here at RSBFS are all about finding the most rare and desireable motorcycles available on the web. Sometimes we will stumble across something that most of us didn’t know existed, such as this Honda CBR500F, or boutique bikes built in small numbers such as this Roehr. Well, today’s bike is so rare that it does not yet exist, although you can buy the rights to its production on eBay.

Trolling the web I found some (not a lot) interesting info on these Hacksetter bikes. They appear to be a custom chassis wrapped around a Kawasaki ZX10 powerplant. The two wheel drive system is a patented aspect of the bike, and on this forum I read claims of faster lap times on the track as well as better efficiency and fuel mileage. I was not able to verify any of these claims independently as I did not find any rider reports of the bike through my searching of my favorite research sites – but this bike is still quite new and somewhat revolutionary. Let’s hope that Mr. Hacksetter can make his dream a reality and get some of these on the road.
You can find a little more information on the Hacksetter website – but details are quite scarce at this time. The auction, however, has a BIN price of $132,970 (!). So, if you want to be the first on your block with the streetbike equivalent of a Christini 2WD conversion coupled to a custom frame and bodywork plus help fund the startup of Hacksetter production motorcycles, here is your call to action. To check what details do exist, click on the link and jump over to the auction. Good luck!

Google the owners name robert hack. He owned a shady company called motodyne. They sold many high price items and never produced a product. Stay away if you value your money.
