SELLER
Selling my 2005 ZX10R with 6k miles and a clean title. This is the last year of the best gen of zx10 known as the widow maker. This one is in exceptional condition cosmetically and mechanically. Never down or dropped.
No cost spared in up keep/maintenance to this bike. You WILL NOT find another in this condition.
Brand new road 6 tires, Yoshimura full system, steering stabilizer, all new fluids, new NGK plugs, new forks seals, new DNA filter, new sprockets, new ceramic wheel bearings front and rear, new braided lines front and rear, new brake pads, new EBC race clutch, seat cowl (have the stock seat), it’s been tuned professionally at EDR for the Yoshimura exhaust and runs like new.
All that being said this bike is obviously ridiculously fast and I will not sell it to a beginner. Shoot me a message if you have any further questions. Sitting in a heated shop not being ridden till it’s sold.
Flighty and a little bit scary!
MCN put out a review of the 2005 ZX10R in 2024 as a used buyer’s guide.
Overall MCN found that “The Kawasaki ZX-10R is sold as the ultimate track bike – the 2004/05 ZX-10R was one of Kawasaki’s first machines after the firm gave itself a kick up the arse in 2002. The 10R’s one wild ride and an absolute weapon in experienced hands. It’s light, makes massive power and handles superbly on the track – a bit of a handful on the road though.” And it was giving a 5 star review. Worth looking at if you are considering this purchase.
Below the MCN review you can read comments from 15 owners. One of which stated, “Still outrageously quick even by modern standards. The brakes are good, but not as good as more modern bikes. But it is exactly as it says on the tin; flighty and a little bit scary. Brilliant.”
From our personal experience: Red rode Charlie’s 2004 ZX10R and he loved that it has no electronic rider aids, relying purely on rider skill. And the graphics are great – good ‘ole Kawasaki green and black.
Good luck to the buyer and seller!
