This 1978 Kawasaki Z1R-Z1000S is one of a handfull of rare classic bikes left from our collection which we have been dissolving this past year due to continued health and age related reasons.
Fully restored german Z1000S derivative of the 1978 Z1R with 0 Kilometers showing on odometer since restoration. Pictures speak more than words, every component on this bike was addressed during the restoration. Only about 250 Z1000S were ever build in total by Kawasaki in Germany. Today maybe 20 are left anywhere as seen here in this auction. Check out the link to a previous auction of this exact model on BaT and what it sold for back a couple of years here:

Vin and engine number belong together. Bike was running fine when we took the posted video, of this actual bike up for auction. Since the run video was taken in February it has been stored without fluids. This is a fully restored bike that has not been ridden since the restoration. It presents as new. I hope that answers your questions…..
As clean under the bodywork as on the outside. Only displayed, never ridden. Comes with original owners manual and toolkit as well as the original kickstart lever mounted under the seat.
