I hope it’s not too late to join in the CBR900RR game that Rem and Mike started last week. If you remember, Mike posted this clean white/blue/red ’93 900RR while Rem posted this white/black/red ’94 version. Now its my turn to show you this low mileage and all original version of this game changing bike!
We are all familiar how Honda changed the game when the 900RR hit the streets. It was lighter than the current liter bikes, yet had the power and handling prowess to leave them in the dust. The bike up for sale here is 100% stock, minus updated tires (that’s a plus). It also is in near mint condition as described by the seller. I just wish people would remove tank protectors for photos when selling a bike… always makes me wonder what is underneath.
From the seller:
Up for auction is probably the nicest CBR900RR in existence today. 100% stock and original except for new tires. The rear fender hasn’t been hacked off, stock turn signals are nice and straight and it even has the original stock exhaust. Very rare condition as most of these bikes were raced, stunted or at least modified with an aftermarket pipe. Not this one, it even had the original OEM tires on it when I bought it with 4400 miles on it. There isn’t a scratch, chip, nick, ding, dent or blemish in the paint. And it is the rare black/silver/red one not the common red, white and blue. Personal preference I guess but the black version looks way tougher than the red/white/blue.
Has only 62xx miles on it and runs like a top (hey it’s a Honda). it is part of my personal Honda collection. Only reason I am selling is to purchase a house. Will also be selling a very nice Honda 1982 CB900F.
I have a stock pipe and muffler for a 1993 CBR900RR that was taken off the bike when it was still on the showroom floor if anybody is interested in one.
I reserve the right to end the auction early as the bike is for sale locally.
There you have it, another clean 900RR up for grabs. The Buy-It-Now price is on the more optimistic side of the range we see these go for. But I do believe these will become more and more collectible as they are a good looking, good running, and a popular bike. If you have a $15k to spend, you have all three of these 900RR’s in each different color. You can check out the auction for this bike here and make it yours today!
