Presenting the 2007 MV Agusta F4 1000 Senna, a sport motorcycle that combines unparalleled elegance with the thrill of racing, crafted in honor of the legendary Ayrton Senna. This model not only represents the pinnacle of design but also boasts performance that demands respect on both the road and the track.
Specifications and Features:
- Engine and Performance: At the heart of the MV Agusta F4 1000 Senna lies a potent 998cc in-line four, four-stroke engine, delivering a commanding 171.7 horsepower at 11,900 RPM and a torque of 111 Nm at 10,000 RPM. This enables a breathtaking top speed of 282.8 km/h (175.7 mph), paired with a high compression ratio of 13.0:1 for responsive and dynamic power delivery.
- Transmission: The bike’s power is managed through a 6-speed gearbox, ensuring smooth transitions and optimal performance across the spectrum of speed. The final drive is via chain, underscoring the bike’s racing heritage.
- Chassis and Suspension: The F4 1000 Senna’s agility and stability are ensured by a CrMo Steel tubular trellis frame, coupled with an aluminum alloy construction. It features advanced suspension systems front and rear, including an upside-down telescopic hydraulic fork and a progressive, single shock absorber, both with rebound and compression damping and spring preload adjustment.
- Brakes and Tires: Stopping power is nothing short of exceptional, with double disc front brakes and a single disc rear brake, ensuring safety and precision in every stop. It rides on high-performance tires, 120/70-ZR17 at the front and 190/55-ZR17 at the rear, offering unmatched grip and handling.
- Physical Dimensions: The bike maintains a slender profile with an overall length of 2007 mm, width of 685 mm, and a wheelbase of 1408 mm. It has a dry weight of 190.0 kg (418.8 pounds), contributing to its agility and speed.
- Fuel Capacity: A fuel tank capacity of 17.41 liters (4.60 US gallons) supports long rides without frequent stops for refueling.
Key Highlights:
- Limited Mileage: With only 4,715 miles clocked, this motorcycle represents a rare opportunity to own a piece of motorcycling history in nearly new condition.
- Climate-Controlled Storage: Its storage in a climate-controlled facility has preserved its aesthetic and mechanical integrity to perfection, ensuring that it remains a showpiece with the added benefit of being road-ready.
- Recent Maintenance: The addition of a new battery reflects the owner’s commitment to its upkeep, ensuring that the motorcycle not only maintains its historical value but is also prepared for the exhilaration of the open road.
The 2007 MV Agusta F4 1000 Senna is more than just a motorcycle; it’s a tribute to one of racing’s most revered figures, combining exceptional performance with aesthetic grace.
Ahhhhh…. the Senna
As reported here on RSBFS in 2017 by Aaron, “The Senna edition, named forMV designer Massimo Tamburini’s good friend and F1 world champion Ayrton Senna, gets special paint and bodywork, Marchesini wheels, and an Alcantara seat to boot… the Senna is based on the F4 1000R of the same era, which means you get tons of modern conveniences, including a trick engine braking assist system, smoothed-out powerband and mod cons like radial Brembos and adjustable suspension. Oh, and 174 horses from the 1,000cc inline four.”
And now for something completely different
Back in 2017 when that Senna was up for sale, the seller was willing to give a discount for anyone paying in bitcoin. At that time 1 bitcoin was worth $17,000. Now, that same bitcoin is worth $70,000. I know nothing about this cryptocurrency, but that seems like it was a smart bargain.
Interwebs Investigation
After a quick search we found that two of these with super-low miles sold recently on Bring a Trailer for $27k. If you are looking to actually ride one of these, this could be it.
If you have ridden a Senna – please share in the comments!
Good luck to the buyer and seller!

Spectacular bikes but almost beg to seen and not heard. Where’s the rear stand?
