2003 Aprilia RS50
800 Miles
Olympia, WA
$4,250
A 2000 Aprilia RS50 with over 4,000 miles was covered here on RSBFS last month and it sold for $3,500.
Way back in 2020… Mike featured a 2005 Aprilia RS50 with 1,412 miles on RSBFS that was asking $1,900 OBO. It sold privately so not sure of the final price.
A quick search found a 2003 current listing that has been up for 47 days on CycleTrader, asking price is $4,999.
Mike put it perfectly in his feature when he said, “This is an awesome little bike that allows you to channel your inner Max Biaggi and ride at 10 tenths without risking everything. It looks great and would make a fantastic addition to your man cave or garage. But please don’t miss out on riding – there is absolutely *nothing* like riding a slow bike fast. Those who have tried it would tell you about it, but they can’t stop smiling long enough to talk.”
See the seller’s description below. Looks like more photos will come and he is available for questions.
Good luck to the buyer and seller!

Introduced in the early 90s, the Aprilia RS50 became a breakout hit in 1999 thanks to an aluminum frame (making it the first mass-produced 50cc with a die-cast aluminum frame) as well as a styling update reminiscent of Aprilia’s GP race bikes. European youths were all over it as licensing rules were relaxed for <50cc motorcycles and scooters. The heart of the ’02 RS50 was a 49.7cc Motori-Minarelli AM6 two-stroke engine paired with a six-speed transmission.Parts are easily available. This bike has been fitted with an oversized 74cc piston and Polini carburetor from the Scooter Swap Shop in Portland. It also comes with an arrow exhaust (stock exhaust is also included with sale as well as extra graphics). The bike is an absolute hoot to ride. More pictures and details will be posted soon.
