Own a piece of Superbike history with this immaculate 1999 Honda FireBlade. Only one owner. I imported this bike new from Canada in 1999. Bike does have a clean Massachusetts Title. As imported from Canada the livery is the original iconic FireBlade blue, gold and white. Looking for somebody who can take on the enjoyment of riding this classic, and put a few more miles on it.

The bike is low mileage having only done 10948 miles. None of those miles were track days. Bike is fitted with a stainless steel Yoshimura RS3 exhaust. Fitted with Metlzer Sportec M3s. As not been ridden very much in the past few years, still plenty of tread.
Bike has been kept in managed storage during winters, and winterized. When removed from last storage it was identified by the shop that a pilot jet on one carburetor is blocked. When the throttle is opened and the main jet is engaged, the smoother running of the engine can be heard. The pilot jet issue can be easily resolved. The bike is being sold as-is.

The beloved CBR! We have six of these in our archives, same year/make/model – but different livery. This one was imported from Canada, eh.
Looks like a great bike. I don’t see any blemishes or dents in the photos. If you have any advice for someone interested in this bike – please comment.
Good luck to the buyer and seller!
I had an odd experience to share. I have an odd body type, i was tallish but skinny like a bean pole. I was 6’1” at the time. 5’11” now after a spine mishap. Anyway, i have long legs.. on this bike my knees go between the side panels and the frame just enough to be unrideable, unless i stick to an early mike hailwood style. Was glad i didn’t get stuck buying one to make this discovery! Only bike i ever encountered this on.
I am hopefully I’m the only oddball and this lovely ride find its match.
Wow! Sweet looking bike and low miles too! Too bad it’s on the wrong coast or I’d be in touch already. $5000 is a VERY fair price for one of the best sports bikes ever. Don’t understand why this hasn’t sold yet.Just noticed it was listed 2 weeks ago. Come on, Boston..open your eyes!
@ Dan – totally agree. Sweet bike! @ Michael – I definitely do not have the height issue, but appreciate your story as others can benefit, lol
