“Good Running Bike. Has Cosmetic Imperfections”
SELLER
1992 Yamaha FZR1000 fair condition bike that needs cosmetic work, but other than that is a good solid runner.
Motor runs strong, pulls hard through the rev range and idles well. No issues with the electrical or cooling system.
What I’ve done with maintenance:
Oil has been replaced 2 months ago, has probably 300 miles on it.
Tires are almost new, have about 500 miles on them.
Coolant has been replaced 2 months ago, almost new.
Battery is about a year old. Advance Auto Parts AGM Unit. Holds charge very well.
Carbs have been cleaned and rebuilt with all new seals and synchronized.
Clutch has been serviced with new clutch friction discs and springs.
Water pump has been rebuilt with new seals.
Has new brake and clutch fluid.
Fuel tank petcock has been replaced along with the fuel filter.
Has Delkevic exhaust that sounds very nice.
Motorcycle has also aftermarket turn signals.
Will post a video of the bike running soon.
The last picture is of the current mileage.

Check out this review on MCN from 2018, “The FZR has a stack of personality that is often lacking in modern sportsbikes. Get a good one and have it set up by a professional and you will be surprised just how flexible and fun this old litre bike is. It’s rewarding to ride, handles well enough to be enjoyed in the bends and, most importantly, delivers a taste of 1991.”
Hanker for a hunk of 1992?
Well do ya?
