Yep, you read right. 1 mile! In fact, the ad goes on to say it’s actually only 9/10’s, but you get the idea. Seems like a great opportunity for a collector. Here the listing on eBaymotors for this 1991 Bimota YB8:
quote from seller’s eBay listing:
Here is a used{barely} 1991 Bimota YB8,FZR1000 EXUP Power, thats right ,9/10ths of a mile.Bike is in great shape, paint is like new,a few spots were touched up or reworked. This was found in a gentlemans garage, where it sat for 12 years, Was bought at a Bimota bankruptcy auction in 1993. Bike had some damage on one of the fairings, but was fixed to stock specs. Every thing is original except for the rear blinkers{originals had a broken lense}.and it has a gustaffson windscreen{original was broken}.Tires are original{not dry-rotted}.Bike runs excellent!
Featuring the fantastic FZR1000 motor and Italian styling, I’ll bet this bike is a blast. No idea what it’s worth, but I’ll update the post after the auction ends. Currently at about $5k reserve not met, with 6 days to go.
