Sometimes it really amazes me what will show up on Craigslist. In many cases you have to ask yourself, did I strike gold or is it posted there for a reason? In either case this OW01 deserves a look because at $14,500 I think it’s the lowest advertised example I’ve seen since we started the site. Thanks to Roger for the spot!

WOW!
This thing screams scam.
Tom , tell us why . I am not being smart here , I really wish to be educated and it might help others too , to not get burnt on a scam . Thanks .
Spam. There’s no phone# and it’s an anonymous return email address.
Mileage has changed. First posted with 1750KM, now 2450km. Seems legit!
I’ve spoken with the owner (Roger was his name) of that bike a few years back, it was located in Newnan. I bought some parts from him and I got a pic just after the headlights were changed to their current setup in 2009. Unfortunately a spam account overtook his E-mail and I haven’t heard from him since. It’s the right bike in the right location, maybe the listing went the same way as his E-mail account.
RC30 Freak, it’s a gut feeling. Limited description. No number. Anonymous email. Lowest advertised price in the history of RSBFS.com. If it seems to good to be true, it probably is.
It might be legit, but I’ll be surprised.
Whats up Jason yes it my bike
I’ve been working with these bikes for over a decade now, ask Jamie James, Bill Brown or any other OW01 enthusiast. Roger is the real deal and a pleasure to work with. I remember when you bought this gem, why are you selling her? Drop me a line when you get a chance.
Besides California, Atlanta was a mecca for sportbikes in the 90’s…I’m not surprised to see this bike on CL from Atlanta. Wish I could go back in time.
Its pretty normal not to put your phone number on a Criaglists post I think, and to use the anonymous email.
That said, this does seem too good to be true! Shame I dont have a spare $14k right now, or I would be on the next JetBlue flight to Atlanta!
Whats up Jason. Bill Brown is coming over on 13th to check out the bike. Looks like it might be sold hate to sell it.
I have been trying to reach out with no reply< maybe he only wnats to sell it to whom he wants? to bad as I would love to add this bike to the stable….
Anyone know how to reach him?
Thanks
Joe
