1990 Honda RC30 For Sale on eBay
from the seller:
For sale is a mint condition 49-state 1990 Honda RC30 with 4,546 miles. Just in time for the US MotoGP race at Laguna Seca! 100% original example as it was delivered by the factory. Original stickers are still on the tank and screen. Exceptional condition both mechanically and cosmetically. No scratches, scraps or imperfections to disclose. Currently sits on a factory 17” wheel off of an RC45 that I powder coated white. This is NOT included in the sale. I took off the 18” wheel that came with the bike to preserve it, which WILL be included in the sale. There is also better tire options with the 17” wheel. This is a zero issue bike that runs and sounds perfect. Those of you seriously considering this bike already know the racing pedigree and historical significance of the RC30.

Factory Paddock Stand

Hi guys. I am the owner of this bike. It is as pristine an example as they come. The interest level here was way more than I expected. I was contacted by several interested buyers within hours of posting this on ebay. A gentleman from AZ called me and put a deposit down on the bike sight unseen which eclipsed my reserve price. Remaining funds should be wired on Monday. Bidding really started picking up so I ended the auction early. Hopefully the bike is sold but if for some reason the buyer doesn’t come through it sounds like there may be plenty of other interested parties. The market for pristine examples of these bikes is very very strong, regardless of what the naysayers say. I have first hand knowledge! Hope everyone is getting good seat time this summer!!! Kevin
Thank you very much for the reply and information, Kevin. This sale does directly refute one particlar naysayer on this site who claims RC30’as aren’t especially rare, and therefore not worth as much as they’re currently selling for. That’s just been proven wrong, yet again. I’m guessing reserve was $25K, and suspect many others here wonder what current market value is on a good example such as yours. Congrats on the sale.
Don’t want to disclose the exact price out of respect for the buyer but let’s just say it was comfortably above $25K. This is a zero issue bike with pristine paint work and 100% factory original with all the accessories so that may have something to do with it. It could be a museum piece but I really hope the next owner rides it! Cheers, Kevin.
I don’t want piss on the parade, but I hope the new owner can overlook the pitting/crazing in the clear coat of the lower fork legs. And are those front brake hoses aftermarket? Normally I would let this slide, but the word ‘pristine’ has been used a couple of times.Nice bike, though.
