Besides this being a great bike, the vintage sport touring gear got my attention. It looks to be in great shape. This owner seems meticulous. For all you East Coasters that like to tour, this might be worth checking out.

Mike covered one of these in 2021 on RSBFS and he started by saying, “History will show that Benelli – not Honda – produced the first factory six-cylinder motorcycle, the 750cc Sei. However the riding public will likely not care who was first, and will always look at the Honda CBX as an engineering marvel, which it really is. And while the original 1978 CBX was a bare-knuckle brawler in its naked form, it is the post-1981 sport touring version we are highlighting here. This 1982 Honda CBX is the final model year of the breed, and represents an excellent example of the beauty and complexity of the model.”
In other important news from RSBFS, Martin G commented that he “got my first ticket by a cop riding one of these, faster than it looks and a tremendous sound at the top of the range”.
Good luck to the buyer and seller!

Looks like a nice example, although the collector market will always favour the earlier naked version.
