Your chance to grab a special little bike but you will have some work to do. This is a 92 example which hasn’t been run for a while but as the seller points out the engine turns over. Could be a mechanics bargain. The Genesis frame made the bike look like a real racer and handle well. Unlike its bigger brother the 600 used a 4 valve head rather than the 5 valve head of the 1000cc bikes. By the way that is a dummy tank, the real one sits low behind the cylinder head between the frame rails to lower the centre of gravity.
The seller shares some details:
THIS IS A 1992 YAMAHA FZR 600 MOTORCYCLE.
NO TITLE-SORRY. PREVIOUS OWNER’S BROTHER LEFT IT IN HIS GARAGE 15 YEARS AGO AND NEVER CAME BACK FOR IT.
SHOULD BE ABLE TO RETITLE IT ONLINE THROUGH A TITLE COMPANY SINCE IT HASNT BEEN REGISTERED FOR LIKE 15 YEARS.
THE BIKE RAN AND RODE FINE PRIOR TO THAT BUT IT HAS BEEN SITTING UNTOUCHED INSIDE THE GARAGE FOR 15 YEARS.
BIKE IS COMPLETELY STOCK ORIGINAL FROM WHAT I CAN SEE EXCEPT IT HAS A VANCE AND HINES MUFFLER.
MOTOR MOVES. THROTTLE MOVES. FORK SEALS ARE LEAKING A BIT.
PLEASE SEE THE PICTURES, THIS BIKE IS IN REALLY GOOD SHAPE FROM BEING IN THE GARAGE ALL THESE YEARS . KEY IS IN THE IGNITION
GREAT PROJECT FIXER UPPER OR PARTS BIKE OR RACE IT.
ITS ALL THERE.
BEING SOLD AS-IS, HASN’T RUN IN 15 YEARS. RAN WHEN PUT AWAY. MOTOR MOVES.
The auction can be found here on eBay.
Not sure what this will fetch given the fact that the motor has not run for so long but certainly if you know what you are doing this looks to be a very clean bike. Be quick not much of the auction left.
AS
why not just come right out and call it stolen?
Haha… Come on, not running AND no title?!?
