Today we have a really sharp GSX-R 1100 that has obviously been well looked after. The seller notes only a couple of very minor blems and the pictures confirm a really, REALLY clean 22 year old motorcycle. Even more amazing is that it has covered 22k and remained very complete with thoughtful upgrades. The auction has 5 days remaining and has already met reserve just shy of $4k. Seems like it would be hard to go wrong here.

1991 Suzuki GSX-R 1100 for sale on eBay
from the seller:
I bought this bike down in LA in 2009 with 17k miles on it and brought it up to Portland.
It now has just over 22k miles (22,084 as of today), so it does get ridden about 1k miles a year and runs excellent in every way.
I have gone through almost everything and made some period/era correct enhancements over the past 4 years, I have all the receipts for everything I’ve done listed below, also included is the owner’s manual and service manual.
Ohlins rear shock freshly rebuilt
– Full Yoshimura exhaust
– Dyno-jet stage 3 jet kit (stock needles included in sale)
– K&N pods (stock air box included it the sale)
– Spiegler braided brake and clutch lines
– Barnett braided speedometer cable
– New rotors front and rear with EBC pads
– New oem steering damper
– New oem upper triple clamp (the one on it prior had key chain marks on it that annoyed me, that’s just how anal I am)
– Fork seals and oil
– Chain and sprockets
– Clutch
– Battery
– Starter
– Starter clutch
– Powder coated wheels, new seals & bearings
– Full tune up this past summer on dyno
– Iridium plugs
– Valves adjustment
– Carbs cleaned
– New Michelin Power 3 tires with less than 100 miles on them
– This is a California model bike, all the Cal emissions has been removed but is included in the sale.
Also included in the sale not pictured but in excellent condition is the passenger seat and passenger foot pegs and the oem reflectors.
I love this bike but I have other bikes and have decided to let this go to hopefully another loving owner to enjoy, it’s in excellent condition and gets lots of compliments everywhere I go, finding excellent condition old school sport bikes of this era is becoming harder and harder these days, prior to buying this one I looked for 3 years before finding this one. The only thing to point out that in my opinion isn’t perfect is on the left lower, the Suzuki decal has a scratch on the “S” and is shown in the 2nd to the last picture from my listing, I do have the correct Suzuki decal to replace it and it is included in the sale, I didn’t replace it though because the decal is under the clear coat.
Title is in my name and in hand, clean and clear title, with current Oregon tags.
I also have quite a few spares that are not included in this auction but could be worked into the deal if the buyer is interested, spare oem tank, spare misc oem body panels, etc.
For sale only to domestic USA. Shipping is the responsibility of the buyer, I am available to help where needed in picking it up. See my 100% feedback rating and bid with confidence. Thanks for looking.
Dagum. That’s one clean gixxer.
It’s in my home town, if it was a 750 i’d buy it… I need a 1991 blue and white for my collection if any one has one and willing to sell it.
That has always been a dream bike of mine, especially in that color. Beautiful bike, GLWS. Wish I had the room for it in my collection.
That’s a nice ride!
Looks like this guy’s gonna get the max value for this bike. 4 days left with a lot of bidding at $5600. might go up to 7 or 8, depending on who wants this thing.
Hopefully who ever wins it actually pays. I see so many bikes re-listed on flea bay after the dead beat bidders disappeared!
hey k3! have a blue and white 1990 750…but i’m away down in san diego…ping me if u like…
Ok. So I am little confused…..
Seller states he purchased it in 2009 with 17K but this bike was listed (right here on RSBFS) Sept.13, 2010 with 12357 miles. Weird !!!
Also, left exhaust is missing along with all the passenger pegs.
Whoever is interested in this bike should be reading that posting back in 2010. Comparing pictures and figuring out the timeline.
Do your homework folks!
Cheers!
Hwood851,
The one I sold back in 2010 was a different one, I had two of them, twins :). Nothing fishy going on here at all, everything with the bike I’m selling now is 100% legit and so am I, I have service receipts for every time it was in the shop since I bought it in 2009 and the mileage and vin# is listed on every receipt. Jay
Here’s a pic of the 2 of them together in my driveway in 2010.
Sorry, I guess I can’t post photobucket links on here, but if you’d like me to email you pics of the two of them together in 2010 I gladly will, just let me know your email address, thanks.
Let’s see if this pic link works, fingers crossed…

Just doing due diligence.

No worries or hard feelings Hwood851.
Now that you know it’s not the same bike… get to bidding on it! 😉
