Tell your friends to put away their YSR50’s and tell your neighbors there is a new sheriff in town! While it isn’t too hard to find an NSR50, I can’t remember seeing one with a title. The seller has done the work for you, now you just need to put the finishing touches on it to be the GP king of the neighborhood. That is, until the next home owners meeting and they ban you from the holiday party.
The seller has an auction going starting at $3,400 and a BIN of $4,000.
Hi I don’t know too much about the 50cc bikes so can someone shed some light on how these bikes can command a price sometimes nearing 250cc bikes such as the rgv or even the aprilia rs?
Are they more collectible?
Rick,
There is nothing very exotic about the YSR or NSR. This one is unique because it is titled. The NSR’s were strictly for the track, unlike the YSR. Sometimes a YSR will go for a higher price because it is pristine and low mileage and somone might be filling out a collection. They should never command RGV250 or RS250 money unless the RGV or RS is a real basket case.
I see no headlight or any lights. No way it has a title.
Mr, Mr, MrMan, headlights don’t= title or no title. Remember every state has different rules.
You are correct Ian. In my state you would have to put on all the ancillary components to meet DOT standards. The title is a huge deal for getting it road worthy.
Cute , but you can get something with some more guts for that price , even a decent little track bike . Just my humble opinion .
