I will include an OEM fuel tank that has been partially stripped of paint and sealed inside.NO warranty sold as is, buyer pays for shipping costs.
RSBFS
When we did our survey last fall many of our readers asked us to start posting some projects and “less than pristine” bikes. This helps people get into collecting and it helps the tinkerers and tuners get their fix. Hopefully the right person will see this post and finish this job. When that happens, please let us know so we can show everyone the final product.
We have highlighted these machines in the past on RSBFS. In 2022 Mike covered a beauty, “The Yamaha RZ350 was the last of the federally imported two strokes into the EPA-heavy state of California. With precise oil injection, the Yamaha Power Valve System (YPVS) to maximize efficiency, and air-injection and catalytic converters in the exhaust stream, this was the cleanest factory smoker on the planet in 1984. Sadly this was not enough for California, and the bike lasted but a year in that market. The RZ350 still sneaked through emissions in other states however, before Yamaha pulled the two stroke plug in America one year later. ”
As Mike pointed out in that post, when these are rebuilt they may not be museum pieces but they are a heck of a lot of fun to ride around and share the love of 2-stroke. There is a market for highly desirable bikes that can and should be ridden. Showing up to the ride with a ring-dinger like this would turn heads and take the enthusiasm up a notch.
Good luck to the buyer and seller!

I still don’t understand the relationship between Kenny Rodgers and this bike? I know how famouse the guy was n all. Singing with Dolly, but that was in the 70’s, not the 80’s Does it got something to do with “the Gambler?”
@Musashi – You are correct. This bike has nothing to do with Kenny Rodgers. 😉
