One owner since 1987 and from the looks of it, it was taken care of by an adult. Everything appears complete and aside from the scratches on the one side, a very tidy motorcycle. With nearly 19k miles, this listing has a buy-it-now of $6,300.

1987 Suzuki GSX-R 750 for sale on eBay
from the seller’s listing:
1987 Suzuki GSXR 750. This is a one owner pampered bike that is completely original, unmolested and in amazing condition. It is blue and white which are the most desirable colors and runs and drives like new. It has a few small nicks and scratches which I have shown comprehensively in the photos. It is becoming almost impossible to find these in this condition so please don’t hesitate if you really want one because this is the one. The first serious buyer to see this one will buy it.
Proof that car dealers are clueless when it comes to marketing and presenting motorcycles- it’s just not their thing. This poor GSXR is absolutely saturated in armorall (or whatever they use now). The complete engine, tires, and exhaust system including head pipes is shiny with it- do they think buyers will be impressed with their awesome “detailing job” and ignore the rest? They should have spent the time doing things like replacing the bent and ground up clutch lever, replacing the blue Progrips with Suzuki stock items, or repainting the keyed up triple clamp. Not costly. I don’t smell ex-race bike with this one, but as always the true story is underneath the fairings and they never bother to show that, or even underneath the seat. Wouldn’t even think of buying it without a thorough inspection in person.
These are getting hard to find…. Looks like it needs very little to be correct
As already illustrated, those upon their high horse will find anything to scoff at, but this looks like a decent deal. And they ain’t exactly making em anymore.
Fair enough. Would you two put your own money up and purchase this bike as presented- just send the money and ship it home?
The mere fact that the motorcycle retains the original air box and exhaust pipe make it worth the asking price imho.
yes, It’s worth the money… I’d buy if I already didn’t have a few from this year in my collection
Hi Sixthgear,
I’m the owner. I am not a dealer. You are correct that I just cleaned it and neglected to remove the excess wax. I’m happy to wipe it off and reshoot pics for anyone. I love this bike, but a Vincent needs a resto so a few things must go.
If interested , Definitely worth a trip to Miami to see that very clean original GSXR. If there are no major issues, it’s worth the money all day long.
Typo in the title to this article, “One Owner 1989 Suzuki GSX-R 750 in Miami.”
It’s an ’87, right?
Good catch, thanks!

Maybe I am missing something but I just don’t see all the value in this particular bike. It looks like the mids and lowers on both side show damage from a crash as does the very rear of the exhaust. Close-up pictures would be beneficial. Mileage is not amazing either considering bikes under 10k are not that rare.
