I will admit that we did not know about this Lightening bike. Perhaps we’ve been living in a cave with all of our 80’s and 90’s Japanese sportbikes…. that sounds pretty accurate. So here we are today learning about this wicked fast electric streetbike.
If you have ridden one of these or own one please share your experience in the comments.
All of the articles/reviews I have found so far speak highly of the bike. Curious to hear if any of our readers have any insights.
Good luck to the buyer and seller!

I’m sorry, but genuine motorcycle enthusiasts aren’t going to pay that kind of money for an electric appliance, or maybe I’m wrong. This sort of kit is to me counter-intuitive, technically a motorcycle, but without any of the benefits, except perhaps acceleration. If that’s all that this hobby is about, by all means buy this thing.

Not the flex the seller thinks it is. It’s soooooo awesome the seller rode 30 miles in 7 years.
What an adrenaline rush this bike must be to ride. Always wanted to take one for a spin but doubt that will ever happen. If this isn’t the fastest street legal production motorcycle out there, it’s got to be pretty damn close. I’ve followed this bike since they were originally introduced and thought maybe the price would drop enough on a used model that I could justify the expense, but I rarely even see them for sale. The asking price is about what they sold for originally.
