Blunt Force: 2004 Moto Guzzi Coppa Italia
Blunt force is what comes to mind when I see a Moto Guzzi. Nothing subtle about it. Just a big bike with a big sound to motivate you forward. The Coppa Italia is a sweet looking limited edition that is a favorite among Guzzist’s and has won me over from my usual lust for race replica’s.
Roughly 50 examples were imported into the United States. This will be the third one we’ve featured on RSBFS in a year. All have been super clean examples. I don’t think you get many 19 -year- olds purchasing Guzzi’s and leaving them in the backyard under a tarp.
If you need a refresher, the Coppa Italia includes a hotter ECU, Ohilins suspension and a performance exhaust. The paint adds to the this limited’s appeal.
The story:
Offered for sale the rare Moto Guzzi Coppa Italia, the 2005 model year shows 8,200 miles and nearly perfect condition, the Italian style V twin is 1100 cc, equiped with the factory high performance exhaust, power comander, Ohlins suspension, Brembo brakes. The grandpa driven bike has been completly serviced and ready to ride. Please email any questions prior to bidding. We can prepare the bike for your shipper
You don’t always have to have a fairing to look good. Moto Guzzi has had tidbits of news lately, I’m looking forward to seeing what they have in the pipeline.
The price on this one sure seems reasonable. The last one I know of sold for $8,100. The seller has listed this one as a classified with a price of $7,995. Not a bad entry price for a limited edition of any brand but on this one you get an Italian bike with some nice specs.

Good day;
Interested in purchasing this bike – where are you located, and is the bike still available?

Burke,
RSBFS simply post’s about bikes we see for sale on different sites (Ebay, Craigslist etc). You will usually see a “click here for the auction” or similar at the end of each post and it will take you to the actual listing. This one is long gone as it was posted back in 2011.
