Ah, Belgium. Home of some fantastic beer, chocolates, waffles, and this unique Aprilia 125. These smaller smokers are quite popular in Europe, and would be tremendous fun on smaller roads and tighter tracks. Before you dismiss this as a scooter or a simple toy, check out the inverted front forks, the 17″ wheels, 320mm front disk and the single-sided swingarm. This bike means serious business.
1989 Aprilia AF1 125 For sale on eBay
The “replica” part of the equation is responsible for the interesting livery. Based on Belgium rider Didier De Radigues – a local Belgian hero and winning motorcycle and endurance champion – this series II AF1 was even branded with De Radigues celebrated number.
From the seller:
For sale is my origional 1989 Aprilia AF1 replica 125.I bought the bike in 1993 and fully restored it. That means is was profesionally repainted and all stickers were bought new from Aprilia. After stickering all parts were sprayed with a layer of clear paint. So this bike will clean easally for ever. Not that it needs cleaning though. In 1994 ive put a Polini 160cc kit on the std Rotax 123 engine (the follow up of the Rotax 127). Nice detail is that the bike features a beautifull aluminium frame and mono-rear swing arm. Elecric starter.
Other than the 160cc kit the bike has carbon fibre reeds, arrows race exhaust, K&N air filter and big Dell’Orto carb. All std parts (cilinder, piston, airbox and carbs) are included in this sale. Also since installing the 160cc kit the bike only drove 105km…
Because its been standing still the front brake needs new seals and you might want to put new tires on it.
Bike has a clear title and is located and registerred in Belgium/EU.
This is a unique little ride that we certainly don’t see every day. Check it out and let us know what you think. Don’t forget to bring back some beer… and waffles!

Oh sweet! A 125 smoker in Belgium. Gonna jump right on that.
The design has aged very well. Initially thought the 1989 listing was an error and should have read ’99. Quite surprising for a one two five.
Suprised to see my add highlighted here! thanks for the extra attention! Indeed its design is timeless compared to the other motorbikes of that era….
Indeed ill have beer an waffles for any buyer from abroad..
Welcome to Rare, Voerman. Nice bike you have listed. Best of luck with the sale!
