1985 Honda VF1000R for sale on eBay
from the seller:
There is a good probability that my 1985 Honda Interceptor is one of the best examples you will ever find on eBay. I bought it 4.5 years ago from it’s second owner in San Francisco. I wanted an aesthetically perfect 1980s classic Honda Sports bike for my office decoration. This Interceptor is as original as the day it left the factory. This bike has the cam-gear drive system which Honda used for racing in the 1980s. It still is a very fast bike even by today’s standards. The covered miles are correct and it shows. All systems are functioning and in good working order. It idles quietly, drives smoothly and looks fantastic. It is often mistaken for a new bike by casual observers, since there are no visible blemishes. I have kept it inside my house next to its smaller brother VF500 and away from the damaging environmental elements. I have set the reserve fairly and below what it is worth in today’s market. If you want a good original example of this race-engine classic, here is your chance.
Nice bike. Poor timing with the sellers recent ebay feedback regarding their honesty.
I read his listing for his Ducati that received poor feedback. Anytime an ad states “like new, excellent condition, but not perfect”, creates concern.
Comstar wheels, can I get a “hell yeah” ?
It’s great to see these older bikes in great condition. Funny though, these sat on dealer floors as no one wanted them back then, They were instantly outclassed by the GSXR’s of the time.
Agree, but, ahem, HONDA!
