Another spot from Doug is this restored and upgraded 1989 Suzuki RGV250 in Lucky Strike livery. Ian is our RGV expert but he’s on a well deserved vacation in Montana at the moment. I mention that only because I’m not as well versed in these models and not sure I’ve seen an 89 Lucky Strike before. That said, it’s already met reserve at $6500 so buyers are liking what they see regardless. Help me out in the comments!

1989 Suzuki RGV250 For Sale on eBay
from the seller:
For sale Fully Restored 1989 RGV 250.
Brand New top end (will have to be broken in).
Brand new NOS Fuel tank and factory lucky strike body work.
Has brand new radiator, tires, brakes lines, etc.
Brand new Tyga expansion chambers.
No such thing as a VJ21 lucky strike edition just some one who painted it that way. The VJ21 had some limited SP pepsi versions.
That’s what I thought but I didn’t want to say definitively without another source!

Suzuki change sponsorship in 1989, and i have seen others very similar so i am not sure if its factory.
It’s not factory I can see in the pic’s the body work isn’t even fitting very well around the front V middle section of the fairing. To me it almost looks like someone is using VJ22 lowers mated to a VJ21 upper look at the gaps and how it doesn’t appear to line up totally. What’s with the super long front brake lines? for 6500 i’d be disappointed!
I bought this bike in Japan, had the lucky strike paint, was super rough! Thought it would be a good spares bike for my vj22, wrong, nothing is the same! Sold it to a knowledgeable guy in Daytona who spared no expense in restoring it, but got tired of it, somehow it is in Canada. I think it is a good deal.
Wait, now I remember, It was originally blue and white, and the tank was toast, I re-did the rear seat myself! Someone bought some cheap aftermarket bodywork, that tank is worth quite a bit though!
