That’s it. That’s the whole listing. One photo, two sentences, and a filter that makes it look like it’s being remembered rather than sold.
“Lovely vintage motorbike” could mean lovely for another day at the track or lovely for your living room decor. No mileage, no service history, no word on how long “a few years” really is. In Facebook Marketplace time, that could mean two summers or two presidential administrations.
What we can see: DESMO on the fairing, 900 Supersport on the tail, red frame, white wheels, and Brembos up front. It’s parked on gravel next to a box truck, and from this one angle it doesn’t look rough. That’s more than we get from most one-photo listings.
This is the earlier full-fairing 900 Supersport, not the 1991 redesign most people picture when they hear “900SS.” You don’t see this generation come up nearly as often.
At $3,500, this is either a great deal or a winter project that eats your garage. Maybe both. A bike that’s been parked for years will want the usual: fuel system attention, fresh fluids, tires, and timing belts checked before anyone gets brave with the starter.
So here’s the ask: Is anyone in New Hampshire? Can someone go look at this thing? Check the odometer, kick the tires, ask the seller what “a few years” means, and report back in the comments. You’ll be an RSBFS hero.
