From the BaT auction, “This 2004 Honda RVT1000R RC51 is a Nicky Hayden Edition example that was produced to commemorate its namesake’s 2002 AMA Superbike championship. Powered by a 999cc DOHC V-twin mated to a six-speed transmission, it wears fully-faired bodywork that is finished in silver, red, and black with race-replica decals. Equipment includes a tinted Zero Gravity windscreen, MZS levers, a Sargent solo seat, a passenger pillion, a DynoJet Power Commander III tuning module, Arata slip-on mufflers, electronic fuel injection, 17″ cast-alloy wheels, triple Nissin disc brakes, adjustable suspension, and a side stand. The bike spent time in Iowa prior to being purchased in 2022 by the seller, who states that the oil was changed and the battery was replaced that same year. This RVT1000R is now offered with a tool kit, a Carfax report, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.”
