As the seller notes, in 1991 the GSX-R 750 was one hot ticket and most of the good ones are long gone. This example is advertised as mostly original with the exception of the missing steering damper and signals, aftermarket exhaust, and upgraded pod filters. The pictures provided are very high resolution and reveal a well kept motorcycle. Bidding has stalled near $4500 reserve not met, but alot of eBay bikes are being sold offline so we wish the seller luck and hope they’ll share the result with us.

1991 Suzuki GSX-R 750 for sale on eBay
from the seller:
I am selling my 1991 SUZUKI GSX-R 750. I purchased the bike from the original owner for my collection of GSX-R’S almost 4 years ago. This GSX-R is really in amazing condition and with only 5,920 miles on it. Never been down or abused, been garaged since new and never seen rain. This bike is very close to flawless. There is one very small ding on the right side of the tank, under the U and it’s about 1/4 inch round or the size of a pinky nail, A few light scratches on the right rear fairing from getting on and off the bike, front fender has an area where paint has been rubbed away, and the seat has a few areas that have started to split along the edge… None of these things are really noticeable, I just want to point out any imperfections. When I purchased the bike it had aftermarket turn signals which I removed, Was missing a steering damper which I never replaced since I never intended on really riding the bike, The stock exhaust system was replaced with a Yoshimura system and the stock airbox was replaced with K&N filters. So, no signals, no steering damper, no stock exhaust or airbox with this sale. These GSX-R’S are very rare & hard to find in this condition and mileage. This was the hottest bike to have in its time and for that there are very few left that haven’t been crashed, junked, or just plain ridden to the ground. Especially in blue and white factory team color scheme. I do start the bike and take it for short ride’s once a month or so and it is in great running condition and starts and rides as it should. Don’t miss the opportunity to own this beautiful piece of Suzuki history. I will also include a very rare 4to1 Yoshimura Duplex system for this bike that I purchased off ebay years ago and never got around to installing it on the bike. I had the header pipe and mid pipe refinished at Yoshimura USA. The carbon can does have some surface scratches which can be seen in the pics
Very nice bike! The duplex exhaust wasn’t designed for this bike though. Yoshimura designed it for the short stroke 1988 motor to help midrange power, which didn’t change until the long stroke came back in 1990.
love the bike, hate the fact that it’s not 100 original. From a quick look, I think it’s missing a couple more stock pieces than what’s been posted. wind screen, reflectors, mirrors, license plate bracket, and fuel tank vent line all are either missing or not stock. Most of these parts are still available from Suzuki, but ouch on price!!! I always wonder why guys don’t keep the stock parts in the attic tucked safely away in the attic? 🙁 If all the pieces were there, I’d buy it in a heat beat…
I would second that K3.
I always find it strange when low mileage bikes have such irregularities and wear. That being said, I remember when I purchased my first Ducati in the 90’s and it was, “replace everything with Carbon Fiber!” lol
My fav. paint job (next to a 86 LTD) and Yosh made the Duplex for all years of A/O GSXR’s I have 5 different years of them in the Garage 2 in Mild Steel, 2 in Stainless and one Ti. All the little non-stock things can be fixed…
Bones, I’ve been looking for stock 1991 for a while now and I agree it’s a great paint scheme and a great bike, and yes, anything can be fixed.. lol. However, why not just keep the parts so it can be put back to stock? I’ve learned through the years that sourcing old NOS parts from Suzuki, when they do still have them, is extremely expensive. Go to Suzuki microfiche and take a look, the steering damper. That will see you back a fourth the value of this bike alone, and as usual one of the key pieces needed is discontinued… In my opinion, which is always stock bikes make more valuable collectibles, is that If this bike was 100% stock it would bring a lot more money and bidding would be much vigorous, and many more “collectors’ would be bidding on the thing.
The seller mentioned he never intended on riding the bike and that’s why he never replaced the damper…. Could it be because he priced the damper, and the air box, and the wind screen and so on and so on and finally realized he’d have way too much money into the thing when it was done?
For me it would be a hard bike to determine what to do with… Low miles which would justify a display piece, but too expensive to restore, or leave it as is, and make it a rider?
hwood851 I collect Ducati 851 sp bikes and I’ve walked away from more bikes than I care to count because of exactly what you’re talking about. it seems to me that most Ducati guys just can’t leave these things alone!!… lol. I find most Ducati guys are like most Lamborghini guys, the more money spent on changes and the more exotic they can get them the better… Which is fine until they decide to sell the things to a collector…

Boys and girls how are you all and stuff?
listen for sure dis is not like original and stuff. look at it also ahmad said he once like seen a good example and like dis isnt it bro.
So i fink you is rite, for sure he realised that he was like going to spend like so much and stuff on da bike and then left it and now is selling it because he cant get it to da perfect level so it eats him up inside and then he cant look at it anymore and has to sell it to relase tension. like blood letting. Inshallah and I hope to see you all at da mosque soon
Hey K3,
Know of anyone with an 888sp4 they don’t want anymore?
Cheers
Hwood851. I do know of a couple I passed on it because the stock exhaust was missing along with the mirrors and a think the front cowl around the head light was white and I never had seen that before so i passed other than that I think it was in pretty good shape. where are you located?
