SELLER
Selling my 98 Ghost Strike 650Great Italian made machine. High quality components. Paoli suspension, Brembo brakes, Marchesini wheels, etc. Similar to a Ducati but extremely rare.
This would be a great bike for a collector that likes extremely rare bikes. I’ve never seen another. Also at the time of my listing there was not another modern era Laverda for sale in the entire US
It’s powered by an inline 2 cylinder, fuel injected
I have an extra fairing to go with it also as pictured.

What a bike for the Day of the Dead, The Ghost Strike!
We do not see these often. Mike found one back in 2012, “The Ghost Strike aluminum beam chassis was developed under the control of legendary designer Nico Bakker. The components bolted on have similar pedigree: 40mm upside-down Paioli forks, a matching Paioli damper at the rear, requisite 320mm front discs clamped down with 4 piston Brembo calipers and a reported 70 HP from the air/oil cooled, fuel injected parallel twin.
This bike is a really cool alternative to a Ducati Monster, Triumph Street Triple, or your basic Japanese naked bike. You will certainly not see your self on the road, and you will be secure in the knowledge that you are riding a legendary nameplate. Parts are (apparently) still available for these bikes, although I would plan for obsolescence at some point.”
That auction had $3,900 as the reserve, back in 2012…
Good luck to the buyer and seller!
looks like its already gone. Note – I think I sold the seller some of the parts for this, everything was NOS/OEM stuff from the factory. Only thing that isnt stock is the wheel color which was black originally. For anyone considering these, this is an air cooled parallel twin. Its not the fastest thing in the world but good god it handled well due to the Nicco baker frame. Also reasonable reliable but it doesnt like standing still for long periods (the fuel pump inside the gas thank is notorious for getting gummed up if you dont drain it properly during storage). Zane Laverdas are now 25 years old and are starting to jump up in price
