Forwarded in from RSBFS Emeritus Doug is this 1992 Kawasaki ZX-7R. This one 16k miles on it and some thoughtful modifications. Most of the stock parts come with except the exhaust. The auction is currently at a tad over $3k reserve not met, but you also have a buy-it-now option of $7500 if you want it badly enough. Thanks Doug!

1992 Kawasaki ZX-7R for sale on eBay
from the seller:
The bike is in very good condition, almost 16k miles on it.This is the model with the aluminium tank, fully adj suspension, race 39 mm CR flat slides carbs, close ratio tranny, solo seat, etc.
They only made 420 for World Superbike Homogation in 1992
The bike have a full Muzzy exhaust with Dynojet carb kit on CV carbs plus a K&N air filrer.
Why the vacuum carbs,so make it easy to ride at low RPM.I have the CR carbs on a box, with the throttle cables ,airbox
The bike have as well a rear Penske race shock.Woodcraft rearset,Vortex clip ons with matching purple bars (same color as the word NINJA at the fuel tank).
The bike have a profesionally installed front end from a GSXR 750 2008 with radial pump and brake calipers, rotors, wheel (powercoated to match).I have the stock front end as well:forks ,triple clamps, brake calipers, rotors, wheel, axle, clip ons, etc. So you get current brake power and suspension, plus save couple pounds.
The bike have Galfer SBK steel braided brake lines.Very expensive ones.
And I believe the final thing, brand new lightweight 530 chain with lighter sprockets, and almost brand new Bridgestone tires.
I have all the stock parts beside the stock exhaust
As you can see all the upgrades are done for a professional tech.
Bike have a clean Fl title on hand and everything works perfect.
Seller was wise to keep all of the stock parts when the upgrades were done, no downsides to the mods. And it’s a nice selling point to see a bike stored with love in the ultimate climate controlled conditions- inside the house!
This one seems to up for sale every year. It seems like a few things have been added since the last time: signal lights in the front and a green wind screen.
I don’t think the right fairing is original either. Should have an extra hole just over the “K”.
Could be a good buy for the right price ( under the Buy it Now)
My two cents…..
Hwood851: yes, you are right. The right side fairing should have hole as all “R” – K and M models.
Seller would get more money if selling only with stock parts.
Its my old bike. I had the mods done. The motor has been gone thru, its a very nice bike.
JWM506 – all stock would bring a better price. Modded bikes in general aren’t worth the price paid for upgrades, though I’m sure this is a “better” ride than stock. I’m watching the auction…
