Today we have a great survivor, an 89 FZR1000. While there were plenty sold there are few that remain in this kind of condition. While the later Thunderace that followed shared many of the FZR1000 ingredients, in my mind the FZR1000 was a bit more raw and elemental.

Where are all the old FZR1000s like 1989 and 1990 model. I look all the time for them never seem to be many left in good shape. Seems like there are still alot of gsxrs and ninjas around??
Looks to be a great find. Too bad pictures and description blow.
Gorgeous. I’ve owned two 1990s and my current one is a two owner bike with 7000 miles and a 1070 kit and flatslides. They really are heirloom bikes and I’m keeping mine for my future children. This is the first modern liter bike.
They are few and far between, but out there. I’m holding on to mine forever haha.
Just checked the extra pictures on ebay, how did he mount the bike upside down to the roof?
Look nice
