This 1983 Benelli 900 Sei was first sold by Total Cycle Service of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and later spent time in California before it was acquired by the seller in 2020. Powered by a 906cc SOHC inline-six paired with a five-speed transmission, the bike is finished in red with black accents. Equipment includes a six-into-two exhaust system, a multi-plate dry clutch, a Marzocchi telescopic fork, gold-finished 18″ wheels, and triple disc brakes with Brembo calipers as well as a two-up seat, a headlight fairing, and both center and side stands. Maintenance carried out since 2020 is said to have included overhauling the triple Dell’Orto carburetors, flushing the fluids, installing a tinted windscreen, and replacing the tires, engine case covers, clutch plates, and spark plugs. This 900 Sei is now offered with 1983 sales paperwork, a period brochure, a tool roll, spare parts, repair manuals, and a clean Michigan title in the seller’s name.

It’s hard not to smile when you see a red vintage Italian sportbike, especially with no reserve. It seems appropriate for the sportbike personality to not have a reserve. We can respect the owner’s faith in the bike and in the community. This bike will find an enthusiastic caretaker.
From what I’ve read, this bike sounds ‘glorious’ and once you are accustomed to driving it, the experience is exceptional.
