For anyone that loves the look of the ’60’s, this motorcycle is eye-candy. With its distinctive tank, high-mounted exhaust pipes, and rugged appearance the design captures the essence of the era.
From the seller:
-Owned and ridden by ease coast racer Guargenti
-Engine work was done by Pop yoshimura ( good friends ) as per Guargenti
-Frame and engine refresh
-New shoulder rims and stainless spokes
-Correct factory alloy tanks and seat ,bushed and clear coated
(paint was done by yoshimura painter from the 1980’s,its O.K)
-Correct factory race mega’s
These never come up from this era of racing, yes there are a bunch of replica’s but only a handful that actually raced in the 1960’s
Rare thoughts:
Well, this is the first time in 15 years that RSBFS has posted about a 1966 CL77 Honda Road Racer. Probably because this is early superbike, but it has racing heritage and the look alone is so cool.
Check out the photos below and if you love the design of the ’60’s, check out the auction on ebay.

Whenever I happen to see a 60’s era japanese “superbike”, the visual always, I mean always is accompanied by the trill of a dual trumpet rising arpeggio lead into the original theme from the “Speed Racer” cartoon. Where shots of two-wheeled adversaries racing around on mounts drawn and inspired from period racers like this beautiful Honda are chasing the powerful “Mach 5.” Everytime I see a motorcycle like this..
“… And when the odds are against him, and their_ dangerous works.; You-bet-your-life, Speed Racer,_ that he’ll_ see it through. Go Speed Racer, Go!” (Spridal and Chim Chim.. lol)
