Just the name “Magnum” alone signifies this is a rare find indeed. Harris is a small performance specialist shop in the UK, producing frame kits for different engines, resulting in many unique specials over the years. In any case, this 1980 Magnum 2 frame kit listed on the Chicago Craigslist will fit a Kawasaki Z1 (the old Z1!) or a Suzuki in-line four:
Will fit a Kazasaki Z1 or Suzuki inline 4 (Katana & others) motor. Currently has brackets to fit Z1. White Power rear suspension, Marzocchi Front forks, Harris cast aluminum triple trees, German made adjustable clip ons, Magnesium wheels. Absolutely gorgeous frame is ultra-light and riged, single and double butted cro-moly tubing… manganese bronze welded. Harris mono-shock rear swing-arm set the standard for all others.
It also comes with a Harris ultra-light aluminum fuel tank, fiberglass bodywork, and a Harris exhaust (a rare item in itself!).
Harris Magnum frames are legendary, so regardless whether you will be buying this one or not (you should!), head on over to the ad on Craigslist to read up on some motorcycle history!

Is the Harris kit still for sale? Do you have mounting hardware for a GS 1000 motor?
