Hey There Good Lookin: 2004 Moto Guzzi Coppa Italia
Very pleasing to the eye if you ask me. I don’t consider Moto Guzzi’s the sexiest looking things around but they are growing on me. Does this mean I’m getting old? Maybe but I think it has more to do with the fact that they don’t have cookie cutter looks. The Coppa Italia (Italian Cup according to Google) is about as good as it gets with Guzzi’s. There are other Guzzi limited editions but I haven’t come across one with the quite the specs as the Coppa Italia.
Yep, Ohlins suspension. Other Coppa Italia goodies include a racing ECU and ti racing exhaust: me like! With only 50 imported to the United States you are guaranteed exclusivity.
From the auction:
Coppa Italia, very rare, one of 49. Has Ohlin rear shock and Ohlin upside down front suspension. Brembo Gold brakes and Moto Guzzi racing titanium exhaust. Racing Moto Guzzi

Has new tires with about 100 miles [Michelin Pilots] Change out the head protector. The oil was changed, value adjustement, and injectors balanced at 3900 miles.
this bike is owned by a senior rider and has had great care. I have to many motorcycles, I need to sell with a very reasonable reserve.
A little lurking on some messaged boards showed this is a sought after model amongst Guzzi fans. I would think the looks and features would make it appealing to even non-Guzzi owners. The auction looks like it reflects this with several active bidders. The only question is where is that elusive reserve set. On the message boards I saw discussions ranging in the $10,000 to $12,000 range. .
