Ducati put together a complex basket for all their eggs in the 851, fuel injection, water cooling, and four-valve desmodromic heads. The package claims 110 hp, but the brilliant torque is the stuff of legend. Big Showa suspension and big Brembo brakes are at the end of the trellis frame. A generous windshield guards the rider stretched over the long tank. If you have a sporty pillion there is a spot under the beauty cover.
Robbie’s 851 looks quite good and substantially stock. Recently serviced after an extended hiatus, it has clean injectors, new cam belts and tires.
