Buyers Remorse: Cali Titled 1996 Suzuki RGV250SP (VJ23)
Update 8/20/2012
Did someone have buyers remorse? Maybe the sell fell through. All that matters is it is back on the market after a Craigslist listing back in July. The KM’s have dropped and the price has risen, hmmmm. It is worth checking out with the title, derestriction and low KM’s.
I wouldn’t mess around if you are interested in this one, it looks like it has it all. It’s got the paperwork, it has low miles and it has been derestricted. What else is there? Oh, the asking price is reasonable for what you are getting. The seller is asking $11,000.
Update- The new asking price is $11,500.
The owner does not go into what CDI the bike has for derestriction but the chambers looks like Sugaya’s “road” version for the 23. He has the stock units as well.
Update- The seller states it does have the 42E10 CDI, which is the CDI out of the full power “V” model. Sellers have been asking for over $800 for this CDI in Japan lately.
This color scheme has grown on me. The bike has under 8,000 KM’s. It sure looks like a nice, close to stock, example.
Update- The seller is stating the bike has somewhere around 6,000 KM’s.
Update- The bike is now listed on The Bay Area Riders Forum.

I sold it quick
Prices for nice two strokes seem to be on steadily the rise
I figured that wouldn’t last long.
Sweet. Just got me a VJ23 in the UK, so I’m fawning over these little beauties now!
[…] In accordance with Two-Stroke week, I bring you this 250cc smoker from Suzuki. Most of the 250’s we see on here are of the Honda variety, so it’s nice to see something a little different. There is even another RGV up for grabs as we speak, and you can check that one out here. […]
[…] one looks to have it all. An avid RSBFS reader though, might recognize the bike as it has made two previous appearances here. They were both Cragislist listings. I believe the bike sold very quickly the first time […]
Boo, Hiss. Try some realistic evaluation if you really want to sell the bike.
