We posted this bike back in January of 22 and Vincent commented, “Very neat bike, would be a barrel of fun to wring the neck of. And those Sumitomo stoppers are some of the best.”
Have to agree – this bike looks like loads of fun.

1993 Yamaha SRX400 3VNBike is in pristine condition with many new upgrades. Completely gone through with new tires, chain and sprockets, cables, brake rotors, pads and lines. High end Titanium exhaust, Billet rear sets, Speedometer was replaced to newer black faced style. These bikes are extremely rare to find in the U.S. as the earlier SRX’s were kick start only. This year/model has electric start!!!
Reserve right to end listing early as bike is listed for sale locally as well

I have an ’86 SRX 600. It is a fun bike. Kick starts just fine, no issues. Looks like alot of mods/upgrades on this. My 600 has enough power to be entertaining on winding roads. Don’t know how a 400 compares to a 600 powerwise.
I’m 99% sure this was never legally imported into the US. I got the forks off one a dealer had to scrap after using it for Yamaha press photos back in the day. Dunno what the current legal designation on these is, but CA should be problematic. Interesting that it has MPH gauges, but it being 8mi makes me think it’s a gauge that fits. I could be completely wrong, but I’d recommend doing homework on this.
