It really doesn’t matter where you are in the world, if you’re in the market for a beautiful pair of RG500s, your auction has arrived. While these aren’t brand new, the combined mileage represents less than 3k miles! The pictures tell the rest of the story as these have obviously been cared for like museum examples. I still find myself surprised that such examples exist but to have two available at the same time, from the same seller, is really remarkable.

marting, these are easy to get into the states!!!
really? i have heard that getting them approved by dot inspection can be difficult and they can even seize the bikes and crush them. Have you ever personally imported a bike into the states?
how bout this?

import bikes monthly from all over the world.
what company do you use to do the importing? do they handle just the transport/shipping or do they also handle the import paperwork?
martin
Martin,
I handle it all, shipping, crating, pick up and delivery, customs, import taxes and fee’s. all I need from the client is a pick up and delivery address, declared value or invoice preferably. With that information I can give a quote. it’s pretty painless… except waiting for the bikes to show up, and that’s like waiting for Christmas to come when your a kid :). I also have contacts in most corners of the world that can inspect condition of bikes and cars prior to finalizing the sale. This helps insure my clients that they are getting the bike or car in the advertised condition.
k3
k3, I would be interested. Would like to pick up a Norton 650 SS in England. How do I contact you?
SR88, my email address is kyle_kozakent@yahoo.com Let’s get the 650ss over here for you 🙂
Don’t let the fact that the EPA loves to seize two strokes almost as much as two strokes love to seize pistons deter you!
These RG500 are 100% legal in the USA, any bike or car over 25 years old are exempt from EVERY DOT and EPA law. Cant stand idiots who dont understand anything but give out wrong info like some retard! I have imported from Japan and Aust, never had a problem.
The bikes will not be going to the USA.
Why ? Is there an invisible RG500 force field preventing them entry or do they have a criminal history not allowing them to get their visa ?
The EPA must have warned the seller that they were going to seize them.
Some of Flux Capacitor’s comments are from another dimension. I would listen to k3.
yea jimbo is right to a certain extent of course about the 25yr epa dot rule / except for California of course where this rule does not apply..other wise a lot of people would be driving r32 Nissan skylines,…..lol…you could not get these bikes plated in cali…pretty much whatever two stroke bike had a plate in cali previous to 2001 year is street legal..
Auction reached $81000 before the add was puled from e-bay,
It would have been nice to see how far it got to…
The bikes did not go to the USA.
