8 Cylinders Of Two Stroke Fun: Two (Kind Of) RZ500’s-One Auction

This looks like fun for the right person. One complete and ready to ride and one in pieces ready for you to work your magic on. Both are titled so you can concentrate on the work at hand. Neither is collector sort of material but if you like to tinker this could be heaven. The complete bike has a YZF 600 front end and a nice set of Jolly Moto pipes to name a couple of the mods. The bike in pieces also has a newer front end waiting for it, if you so choose.

Want to have the coolest bike at your local bike night? Why buy a Ducati or RZ350 when this gets twice as much attention? I have for sale two very rare Yamaha RZ500’s. Both bikes have clear Nevada titles and I don’t have to tell you how rare this is. The first bike (vin: JYA52X004FA004141) has painted Airtech fiberglass bodywork (has a few scrapes, cracks), Jolly Moto GP carbon fiber exhaust (loud and meanest sounding exhaust sound you have ever heard), YZF600 forks, wheels, and brakes, EBC front rotors, and a red Zero Gravity windshield. The bike runs strong pulls the front wheel up north of 100 mph. I’ve had new liter bikes fail to chase it down and is not for the faint of heart. The second bike (vin: JYA52X000FA000572) is completely dissembled and as far as I know, complete. I also have the parts to convert it to YZF600 forks, wheels, and brakes which are also included as well as a few extra spare parts including a new graphic kit. I had planned on putting this bike back together but never got around to it. Both bikes are sold together and would make a great addition to any bike collector’s collection and a fun investment.

If you are interested I’d scour the photos to make sure the majority of the second bike is there. I’d go into it expecting surprises and missing pieces. It always happens no matter how well intentioned the seller is. At least with the RZ’s there are a lot of experienced people out there to help with advice. I would imagine there would be a decent amount of interest on this auction. I haven’t seen a whole lot of RZ500’s for sale this summer and everyone likes a two for one deal. .
