If the refurb’d Laverda 750S Formula we posted a couple days ago had you drooling but was too far to pursue, maybe this stateside 750S could help with that itch. While not a Formula, all the Laverda’s of this era are pretty rare bikes. And they still carry lots of premium parts to compliment the parallel twin. This particular example wears the half fairing option and has been on display for many years. Having only covered 2675 miles before being put on display, the seller notes that this bike will need a battery and fluids before running. This one is opening at $2500 and has no bids yet.

1999 Laverda 750S For Sale on eBay
from the seller:
1999 Laverda 750S in excellent condition with only 2,675 original miles. This bike has been on static display at a local Quaker Steak and Lube. Be the only one with a Laverda at bike nights! It will need a battery installed and all fluids checked prior to running. It was stored properly with the cylinders fogged with lubricant to preserve it during its display. This bike pulls like a freight train and shifted and handled like the true Italian bike it is on it last ride prior to display and storage. It has not had the starter conversion done to it. The only things not as factory are the carbon fiber D&D exhaust cans which sound incredible and the upgrade oil filter assembly.
Well think about it people : I heard some say well it’s only a vertical twin …… Yet people still rave about Norton Commandos ! Me , not a Brit bike fan . However what this engine is wrapped in is very tasty . Also don’t forget . In this day of water cooled bikes that usualy have ugly looking car-like engines this old beauty has nice engine fin detail to look at reminiscent of the old MV Agust racers in a way . I’d rather have one than a Duke , just my opinion .
