Yes I know… With yet another two stroker to post on RSBFS some fans may think it’s 4:20 in Washington state with all the smoke wafting in here. But actually we’ve just been blessed with a much better than usual winter selection of choice rare bikes to pick from! Today we’ve got this very well written and photographed MC28 SE that has just 6500 miles:
1996 Honda NSR250 For Sale on eBay
quote from the seller:
There is a walk around video but sadly no start up or ride footage. Nonetheless, it’s pretty clear from the photos that this a very well looked after ride and the description has just the right keywords dropped in (Motul 710) to help encourage potential 2 stroke buyers this is worth investigating further.
Bidding is over $5600 in just half a day after being listing, so bid high and bid often if you intend to own it! Good luck to buyer and seller,
dc
I usually don’t say this, but forget the bike! Look at that garage. Ferrari 360, McLaren MP4-12C, and Lamborghini Gallardo!
*drool*
I was thinking the same thing, and look at the garage floor.
My life would be enhanced by owning such a machine. Dayumn.
Gorgeous bike! Where are the exhaust hangers?
You don’t need no stinking exhaust hangers
I just love me a good clean Honda Sportbike .
just a comment, But I would be extremely cautious about this bike, I dont know what the deal is and there is not enough explanation about the vin number, but dealing with these bikes for over 17 years and registering them myself, a 17 digit vin is not correct, so any CHP that pulls it over and runs the 17 digit VIN I guess it would come out as another bike. The problem with these bikes is not registering them, its keeping them, even though you got it registered there are plenty of stories of RGV, TZR & NSR owners getting a letter from Cal DMV to return the plate, or a wise CHP officer after pulling you over impounding the bike
You poor poor Californians ! We can register those little gems over here in Iglooland . What we do is when we need an expansion for our garage we build an dextension to our Igloo over the winter to house our extra toys ( like the NSR…) Only problem is we are homeless in the Spring with no place to put our bikes ….. Still though we can plate them here……
Well, I couldn’t resist, I went over and rode this little gem. It was much more civilized and composed than it looked and felt like I could have ridden it all day. This bike is everything the owner says it is and I found him to be very above board and honest as well.
Ahhhh…and the California license plate. If I owned it, I’d take it straight over to Arnald’s house and do a burn out on the front lawn. This thing is bitchen! Please don’t take this out of state.
I just love seeing rare two strokes still around, and the smell of two stroke oil in the morning
interesting 17 digit vin considering they never were a export bike and came with a 11 digit vins. good luck with that Nice clean stock se
How much did this incredible bike sell for?
