The red, white, and blue CBR900RR is such an iconic bike, and not just in the U.S. This month’s Practical Sportbikes highlights this modern classic and reminds me that I would love to have one of my own. Perfect examples command an appropriate premium over average examples. But while this one has some minor aftermarket bits and a few cracks, it’s not a wrecked bike as far as I can tell, and to be honest seems better than average even with nearly 40k miles. Considering it has an opening bid of just $3k and a buy-it-now of $3,999, this looks like an example that is ready to be enjoyed and perfectly set for an easy restoration down the line.

1993 Honda CBR900RR for sale on eBay
from the seller:
1993 Honda CBR 900 RR Fireblade
Great condition, runs excellent
Approximately 37,900 miles
New regulator/rectifier and stator from Rick’s Motorsport
Tires in great shape – Bridgestone Battlax BT-016
I remember this on eBay a few years ago and being tempted. To hit nearly 40k and look like this you know that it has seen at least a little love.
Bikes with price points like this make this a fun hobby.
I bought a new CBR900RR in 1992, right after they came out. I wanted a Ducati 900 SS, but couldn’t get the dealer to let me take a test ride, so I bought the Honda. I put 48,000 miles on it, and wish I had never sold it. Never had a problem, and the valves never needed adjustment. Now I have 2 Ducati 900 SSs, a 317 lb. 1997 track bike and a 1998 FE street bike. I like them a lot too, but I’d love to have a CBR900RR, if I had any more room!
Joe,
Let me help you out by taking that FE off of your hands. Then you’ll have room for the RR.
