More accurately, two Daytona’s available right now and about to end on eBay. Act quickly! The 1993 is the first year for the 4 valve, fuel injected Guzzi Daytona. This configuration is good for about 95hp and 500lbs. The second is a 1997 RS model, which sports a slightly uprated 1100cc motor. Special thanks to Turin for the heads up!

1993 Moto Guzzi Daytona 1000 For Sale on eBay
from the seller:
If you visit George Barber’s stunning museum you will be able to see a yellow Moto Guzzi Daytona, that is how special these are, after all there were only 283 produced in 1993, this one is No. 33. This bike has a 4 valve head, which later became a key part of the MGS-01 and the power it could put out. It was not until the recent crop of Guzzi’s that the 4 valve head again became part of the production bikes. This 1993 Moto Guzzi Daytona 1000 is a fine original and un-restored example. The bike has been in California for all it’s time and is in superb condition. The bike is ready to ride, show or display in your private museum. The very low production numbers for this bike and it’s provenance thanks to “Dr. John” makes it an excellent investment opportunity.
1997 Moto Guzzi Daytona RS For Sale on eBay
from the seller:
1997 Moto Guzzi Daytona RS. 6868 miles, Creadon chip, D&D Exhaust, Heli bars, Michelin Pilot Sport tires. New plugs, synthetic oil and new filter. This is a beautiful, adult owned “soon to be” classic. It is very very clean with the only flaws being 2 small dents on the underside of the exhaust pipes and some touched up scratches on the left rear cowl. I have included photos of the flaws. I’ll also include an original sales brochure!
Even though I don’t like red (sorry Duc guys) that RS looks like a sweet bike! Up to $8000 with 22 hours to go.
The motor alone must weight 350 of its 500 lbs. I like it, it’s beastly… Too bad it could get smoked by just about any 600.
Not many of these came to the states. The Daytona’s are different from the Sport 1100’s in that they have the 4 valve heads that made additional hp. I’ve only ever seen the ’93 solo tail models, and didn’t realize they made them as late as 97. That ’93 is pretty. These things have a stupidly high seat height and and a long wheel base (think handling like a train, and I don’t mean on rails). I’ve always liked these in the same way that I like the first gen Triumph Speed Triples. Great to look at, fun to ride, but not something I want as my sole transport.
